Where are you located?

Flourish is located in the beautiful suburb of Kilsyth <3

Do you cater for any allergies?

Unfortunately, our kitchen does not cater for any allergies! All our cakes contain or may contain traces of gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, soy, the list goes on and cannot promise to be free of any of these ingredients.

Do you offer delivery?

We deliver within a 20 km radius from our kitchen in Kilsyth which incurs a flat fee of $25. All other addresses that fall outside of this area must be collected with the exception of custom wedding cake orders in which the delivery is calculated based on the location of the venue from our kitchen. Please note, delivery is only offered on Saturdays. Sunday we are closed and only fulfilling deliveries for our wedding clients.

Can I pick up my cake?

Yes you absolutely are welcome to pick up your cake! Here are the listed pick-up collection times:

MONDAY CLOSED

TUESDAY TO FRIDAY: 3-5pm

SATURDAY: 8:00-10:00am

SUNDAY: we rest! (with the exception of our wedding deliveries)

Please note: due to the nature of a baker’s work revolving around events, we have no flexibility on these collection windows and if you arrive too early or too late for pick up there is a risk we will be not be there. If you feel you may not be able to arrive at the allocated collection window, select the business day prior pick up time and your cake can be kept refrigerated over night ready for the next day!

If you have opted to pick up your cake, it is always recommend holding your cake box from the base and not the sides. When transporting it from A to B placing it on a nice flat surface such as the passenger seat floor or the floor of the boot- definitely do not recommend on the passenger seat! And lastly, keep your cake nice and cool by cranking up the air con on the way to your destination.

Where can I store my cake?

All Flourish cakes must be stored in the fridge (for those tall beauties you may need to adjust your fridge shelving). It can be taken out 2 hours before serving so our delicious buttercream cakes can be enjoyed at the ideal temperature! When displaying, ensure your cake is out of direct sunlight and heat. Any leftover cake can be stored in the fridge in an air tight container for up to 4 days and once again taken out 2 hours before enjoying.

How much notice do I need to give when putting in an order?

The motto is always the more notice the better! All online products require a minimum one week’s notice, with custom orders requiring a minimum three weeks’ notice and we also take wedding cake enquiries six to twelve months ahead.

I am considering getting a custom cake made but not 100% sure what I want, how do I secure a date?

That is a-okay, always here to help! Be sure to fill out our custom cake enquiry from on our website as best as you can, and once we iron out all the details together you will be issued an invoice. This invoice is valid for five days from the issue date where you will be required to pay a 50% non-refundable deposit in order to secure your date. Without this, there are no guarantees that we can hold this date for you and knock back the other cake lovers wanting a cake that day! Once payment has been made, the final instalment is due one week prior to your event date. Orders can not be delivered or made unless paid in full.

What is your cancellation policy?

ONLINE STORE: For all products on our online store, once you have ordered your cake, no changes can be made so be sure to double check all your details date, size, flavour, colours, spelling etc! We understand plans do change so if you do need to cancel your order please notify us via email you order number. For orders cancelled more than 48hrs ahead of pick up/delivery, a 25% administrative fee will be deducted from refunded amount. Unfortunately if you cancel less than 48 hours ahead of pick up/delivery no refunds will be offered as your cake order will be well underway being prepared.

CUSTOM CAKES & WEDDING CAKES: For custom cakes and wedding cakes, please notify us via email to request to cancel your order. All orders cancelled more than one week prior to your event, 50% will be refunded back to you. All orders cancelled less than a week prior to your event no refunds will be offered. 

If you need to change the date of your order that's okay! Send us an email and we can discuss availability for your new date. You will need to give us a minimum one weeks notice for any changes in date
